Help celebrate Helensburgh’s Hanami!
On Saturday 30 April at 10.30am come to Hermitage Park and join members of the Tree Trust and the Friends of Hermitage Park for a short celebration of the return of the blossom. This year we will have a special ceremony when we are joined by Lee Stetson who plays the part of the famous conservationist John Muir. Lee will plant a Sequoia tree which has been imported from Yosemite which was Muir’s favourite place in the US. In years to come this tree will add to the grandeur and majesty to the about to be refurbished Hermitage Park.
