We really need lots of people who love our street trees to make a difference by helping to fund them.

New trees cost about £100 by the time we buy them and get them planted in the verges. Costs include the tree itself, supporting stakes and ties, compost and labour to plant. We also have to survey possible planting sites first to ensure we will not be planting over important services such as gas, water or electricity. So it all adds up.
